Herb Riband, Fellow, Stanford University

Dr. Mohammed Omair is a Consultant Rheumatologist and Assistant Professor in King Saud University (KSU), Saudi Arabia, since 2013. He established the KSU Rheumatology Fellowship Program in 2015 and led the task force to establish specialized rheumatology clinics in 2017. He is the Founder and President of the Charitable Association for Rheumatic Diseases. He has more than 20 articles in peer reviewed journals.

Previously, Herb spent 13 years in Switzerland with Minnesota-based Medtronic in a variety of international leadership roles, including Vice President External Affairs International where he was responsible for government affairs, healthcare policy, market access and corporate philanthropy activities outside of the United States.  Prior to Medtronic, Herb worked for Diageo plc, Ernst & Young and Baker & McKenzie. He served on the boards of the Medtronic Foundation and various industry associations. He holds advanced degrees from Cornell University and the University of Michigan Law School.
